Thursday June 29th, 2006:
After getting off work I frantically rushed to Perry's house. It was Dave (Chungers') B-day and there was a lot to do before we attended the party, including buying his gift. We decided to buy him a board game (Thought it would be unique and maybe something he'll like). In the end we bought a game called Munchkin, which is quite a fun game in my opinion. Its like Dungeons and Dragons but with cards. In the game you can also stab your friends in the back by indirectly killing them or making them lose a level. It's great and will cause a lot of hatred among people who are playing it.
Afterwords, we needed to buy our own steaks for the party. (We also bought the supplies needed to make sparkling Ribina...YUM!) Although a violation of the standard party rules, having a BYOM (Bring your own meal/meat) rule at a party takes away a lot of work and decision making for the host. Why bother calculating how much food people will need and what kind of food they will enjoy, when you can just get them to bring their own. Besides, the guests will be happy with what they eat because they chose it themselves, and if they're not you can call them idiots for bringing something so bad tasting.
Furthermore, BYOM is better than a potluck, because you don't have to ask what other people are brining and request that they bring something else because 10 other people are brining that food item. And with BYOM its not like you can't share it with other people anyway....
All in all it was a great party. We had fun and my DS lite (with Brain age) got passed around more than Perry on 97th street and the local whore combined! It was great to see so many people having fun with the DS lite. Maybe, I should go market for Nintendo, or nintendo could pay me for letting other people try out my DS lite. (I've even got Dave and Thomas hooked, they've already made future paycheck commitments to the sexy piece of machinery.) The money I'd get from that job would be going back to them eventually, because I'd pump money into buy games for the DS. Having seen the popularity of my DS I realize that Nintendo is gonna own the next generation. I was a skeptic but I think the DS has really won me over and so has Nintendo. They're marketing strategy is innovative for a game industry, they also have the inventiveness to see their strategy innovative. Good Work Nintendo, you've made me a fan again after the sorely disappointing Nintendo 64 (I must admit there was some classics with the N64). I look forward to buying my first Wii (and playing with it, as sick as that sounds).

Dave's actual birthday. So...happy birthday Dave.
Work was sort of a drag. The friday atomosphere killed any initiative to work. I had lunch with Kingsley, which was quite nice. Went to Wendy's where we proceeded to talk about Cars, Girls (how crazy they drive us with their outer space logic) and work. Nice to know Kingsley has a tool for tire changing. Would of saved me a lot of effort when I was changing to my summer tires, but it I suppose my days of hard tire changing is behind me now. Well I hope so.
After work I came home and crashed. I wasn't feeling so well, because two days ago I came down with (, what I think now,) a cold. I bought a bottle of Buckley's Cough Suppressant on Wednesday and have been drinking it out of the bottle ever since. In a span of three days I've consumed almost 1 bottle. I think I've been drinking too much because I've been getting muscle pain in my right shoulder. Apparently, this is due to the camphor; When you ingest too much you get muscle hyper tension. So periodically I feel pain as I drive in my car, due to shifting gears with my right arm. I'm going to cut down now.
Our crew decided on a late night games night, consisting of board games and poker at Louis' restaurant. However, we decided to grab a drink at Brewsters first. They have this really unique Blueberry Beer. It's pretty interesting and eating the blueberries after finishing your cup of beer, provides some nice flavor. Dave kept spitting out his blueberries, which he gave to me (I was unaware he was spitting them out). I threw them in my mouth only to hear Dave yell "NO!" and I realized that something had happened to those berries. I spit them back in a cup and proceeded to laugh. Great...next time I listen to my instincts when my friends give me food. (Dave told me in some cultures we'd be married. If I was to marry a guy I'd want to marry you Dave. Tmo's too emo.)
One more stop before Louis' restaurant: The Liquor Shop. We bought Hypnotique (Always good, in my opinion), Smirnoff Citrus Twist (for jello shots for tonight) and some Pomegrante Liquor, suggested by one of the employees (can't wait to try it).
We got to Lulu's restaurant and we started with a game of poker (which I sat out for Super Mario Bros. on my DS). We then played Munchkin and Pirates Cove (a game which Perry bought at the same time we bought Dave's gift). Pirate's is great, I was fully emerged in that game despite being so tired. The game ended with Perry sending the Navel Fleet against me, while I was engaged with some Baron Ghost Ship (I hate you FAIRY!). It ended with me killing the Navel Fleet but falling to the Ghost Ship, oh well I suppose I was lucky to kill somthing. Perry won the game, but I look forward to a rematch tonight!
Other notable events that night: Dave getting a Brain Age of 20 (Highest Possible Score, and I hate you DAVE) and Louis memorizing 18 out of 30 words in 2:00 (Another game in Brain Age and I hate you LULU. I think I've said "I HATE YOU" to everbody who went to Louis' restaurant except Tmo, so, I HATE YOU EMO, just because).

So on to today, I want to say Happy Birthday to Canada. Damn, your old. Tonight's party at Chris' has some potential, especially since he rented a Slurpee machine. Now, if hot girls show up then I will give his party 5 Stars out of 5. Otherwise, I'll rate the party, as Dave Chapelle's Rick James said "Four thumbs down". I'm bringing Jello shots, so I think I'll have a fun time regardless. Hope to have a post tomorrow.
