I must say the Chris' house party was surprisingly great. Everybody got pretty messed up when we started eating the jello shooters. I made 2 types, lime and orange. The orange jello shooters preserved the orange flavor, the lime jello however, was made of half vodka, half water and tasted like rubbing alcohol with a hint of citrus flavor. Thank god, for the citrus twist part of the Smirnoff Vodka.
Yumm...
Unfortunatly, people got careless and ended up spilling the jello shooters over Perry's board game and the floor. The consequences isn't catastrophic, but they managed to ruin some essential pieces to a new board game, as well as, dirty up Chris' hosue. It'd be nice if epople were a little more considerate at times.
All in all, however, a good party and a good night. We stumbled home and Kingsley and I ended up staying up at Perry's house for the night. During the night I woke up to find a girls watch on my bed. I was scared for a moment and was wondering if I had brought a girl to sleep with me. Then I realized, I'm Wing and the panic subsided.
Waking up, my throat felt a little better, however I felt parched due to the last night's massive consumption of alcohol. Hangover was minimal, so that was good, but I felt parched all day. I managed to get a brain age of 24 when I woke up, which was good consider I sort of a had a hangover.
I was Kingsley's personal chauffeur for the day, and we went on various errands for his birthday barbeque. We had to get condements, tin foil, firewood, more buckley's (for me, I know, its bad for me), Franks and accompanying hotdog buns. We figured that all of the above could be purchased at Superstore, in the end we were wrong and managed to all but the firewood.
Our trip to superstore was one of discovery and amazement. For some strange reason, longer quantities of tin foil were cheaper than smaller quantities. Fracked up eh?
Firewood was a bitch to get. It took as trips to two other locations besides superstore to find it. Canadian Tire had none, but offered to give us their used pallets should we have an axe to chop it up. Me and Kingsley declined, feeling lazy. Canadian Tire: useless! Next stop was Esso, and it wasn't until we asked the lady that we found the firewood.
After a quick shower and a few other errands, we headed over to the park. It took us a while as we were given wrong directions and the fact that the park was in downtown. We had a little trouble finding spots but eventually found a good place to cook and eat. I won't bore you with the details because it was quite ordinary for a barbeque.
We're now watching SPL at Perry's house, some crazy cop movie. The events happen in a sporadic fashion so I'm somewhat confused.
Sorry no pictures of Kate on this post. Maybe next one.
